ProTip: If you use your own cards when you make a suggestion, you often force the computer to reveal information you need. It also misleads your opponents! It's No Mystery Up to six players (human or computer) compete in Clue to discover the identity, location, and weapon used in the murder of the infamous Boddy. Each player assumes the persona of one of the famous cast of suspects, ranging from the ever correct Colonel Mustard to the supercilious Miss Scarlet. At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt a set of cards. With each roll of the dice (nicely simulated with a digitized hand), players advance around the board to different rooms in the mansion, where they can guess who did it with what and where. After a player makes a suggestion, the computer reveals a clue. The game includes special Detective Notepads that each player can use to record their clues. One player will eventually be able to figure out the likely culprit the weapon used, and the room in which the crime was committed. If your opponent is heading for a specific room, sidetrack them by naming them as a suspect in another room. They'll be sent there. Who, What, When, Where and Why Although the name of this game is the same, the video game version features some nice new touches. There are five ranks of play, ranging ere from entering that mom! From Amateur to Detective. The higher the rank, the vaguer the clues and the more difficult the sleuthing. The game board is faithfully reproduced and animated character scenes and murder reenactments help the game to come alive. Board game and murder mystery fans alike will enjoy trying to get a Clue. There's been a murder somewhere within the Boddy Mansion! Who could have done such a dastardly thing and, more importantly, how? That's for you and up to five other players (computer or human) to find out! Clue is a translation of Parker Brothers' classic detective board game. Someone has murdered Mr. Boddy and you must use your deductive reasoning to rule out five of the following six suspects: Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Peacock, Mrs. White and Professor Plum. If you’ve played the original, then you know what to expect: a group of Mr. Boddy’s friends, assembled at his estate, suddenly find themselves involved in a murder mystery. Now it’s up to you to figure out who the murderer is by collecting evidence and making deductions based on what you observe. When you’re feeling confident, you can make your accusation of who did it, where, and with which weapon. If you’re right, you’re treated to a cutscene that re-enacts the murder. Once you've narrowed the list down, you'll also have to come up with the murder weapon and location. Was it with the lead pipe in the Billiard Room? Or was it with the knife in the Kitchen? Clue for the Genesis adheres to all of the original's rules and offers a top-down view of the board and digitized hand to shake the dice. Clue features include sound effects and music, animated cut-scenes and five difficulty levels, from Amateur to Detective. Since each game is different every time you play, you'll have to keep your sleuthing skills sharp! You can play against the computer or challenge up to five human opponents. Was if Professor Plum in the den with a wrench? Or maybe it was Miss Scarlet in the kitchen with a knife? The only way to find out is to play Clue. Clue features: • Features five different skill levels, Amateur to Detective • All the characters from the classic board game • Animated clues help you reach your decision • Play against up to five human opponents • Fun for the whole family.
